Certified green buildings will act as beacons for sustainable development while without compromising the main life cycle of the building. Green concepts helps the hotel to function more effectively and responsibly.

The client is a multinational company investing in this project. The company has acquired an acre of land plot in Negombo which consist of existing structures for this multipurpose commercial building which facilitates dining, Banquet hall etc.

As a new competitor to Sri Lanka’s hotel industry, hotel Ayubowan would like to take initiative in promoting sustainable development to hoteliers. To achieve this purpose, the company has hired a team of green building professionals which consists of architects, structural engineers, civil engineers, MEP engineers, environmentalists etc. and have aimed to obtain Platinum standard in green building rating.
